мey Product Hunt 👋
I’m George, a truck dispatcher, and I built CarrieX because I was tired of doing the same math on every load.
On a load board, a load says $2,900 for 512 miles, so it looks like $5.66 a mile. But my truck is 130 miles away. That’s 130 empty miles I pay for, so the load really pays $4.65 a mile. I was checking that on a map and a calculator dozens of times a day, then copying the broker’s email, writing the same message, and texting my driver the details.
CarrieX does all of that on top of the load board you already use:
🚚 Open a load and tap Option (Alt on Windows): a card shows the real road miles from your truck, the deadhead and the real rate per mile, next to the board’s own numbers ✉️ Press E: the broker email is written from the right carrier’s own Gmail, with its signature. E again sends it, with 5 seconds to undo 📲 C and T: the driver gets a picture of the load with the route map, or the text with the Google Maps link 🗺️ A: plan the trip with extra stops, miles and drive time for each leg 1️⃣–9️⃣: switch trucks, and the numbers follow the truck
It’s private by design: CarrieX reads a load only when you press the key, Gmail access is send-only, and it never books or bids on anything.
There’s a free plan (5 loads a day), and Pro is $9.99 a month for every load and every key.
I’d love your honest feedback, especially from anyone in trucking or logistics: what would make this a must-have for your day? 🙏
