Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm a solo developer, and I built Career Jot — the job tracker I made for my own job hunt. It started in 2025 as a private tool. I was applying to a lot of roles and wanted a less sad and boring way to keep track of every post I'd applied to, so I built something calmer: a visual board where each application moves from wishlist to applied to interviewing to offer, so I could actually see where I stood instead of guessing. Then I sat on it. I used it through my own search, fixed whatever annoyed me, and it slowly became something I actually liked opening. This is that version. What's in it: - The board is free: unlimited applications, drag and drop, search, a timer and a printable report. - Helpful links and notes sit on each job, so you're not tab-hopping. - Pro adds the AI job search assistant, cover-letter tailoring, custom board stages, attachments and a shareable read-only board - £5/month, or £39 once. - Dark mode, because obviously. One thing I want to be upfront about: Career Jot is a personal project first. It's not a startup, it isn't for sale, and there's no growth plan behind it. It lives on my studio subdomain as a working thing I use myself, and I decided to share it in case it helps someone else's search right now. So use it free, and tell me where it breaks. If your job search looks nothing like mine, I'd genuinely like to hear that too. Feel free to ask me anything 👇
