Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built Callana because to scratch my itch for international calling. WhatsApp and FaceTime are great until the person you're calling doesn't have them. Your phone carrier charges $2–3/min.
The specific frustration: my family calls relatives abroad from a laptop. Most other apps have a clunky UI and I didn't like it. So I built the thing I actually wanted.
What Callana does: - Call any phone number in the world - landlines, mobiles, office phones - directly from your browser - No app install on either end. The person you call just picks up their phone - Rates depend only on the destination. You see the exact price before you dial - No SIM, no roaming, no contracts. Top up what you need, use it when you want - 200+ countries covered. Credits never expire
A few things I'm proud of: - Up to 99% cheaper than carrier rates on many routes - Built on enterprise-grade infrastructure, so call quality is actually good - polished UI which doesn't feel like a regular dialer
Who it's for: Diaspora communities, remote workers, travelers, anyone who regularly calls abroad and is tired of paying through the nose or asking grandma to install an app.
Happy to answer anything - especially on pricing, quality, or how it compares to alternatives you've tried. Would love to hear what routes you call most.
Thanks, Denzil Can I handle incoming call from any country?

@charl_justine_ompoc Hey Charl! I don't have the incoming call feature yet. But I am working on it. Please give the outgoing feature a try and let me know how that works for you.
