Budget Guru - Cash-flow forecast for irregular, multi-currency income

by•
Most budget apps tell you what you spent. Budget Guru tells you if you'll have enough on a given date: payment waves, “can I afford this?”, hourly and multi-currency income, yearly costs set aside monthly. The AI explains — the code does the math.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Andrei, a product manager with a dev background. For 10+ years I ran my family budget in Excel, then CoinKeeper, then Zenmoney. They all answered "what did I spend?" - but never the question that actually kept me up at night: will I have enough money on the 25th, when rent, insurance and two installments hit on the same day? Then I relocated. Hourly pay with different payout cycles, income in USD and EUR plus some crypto, taxes I have to set aside myself. My setup turned into Zenmoney + two giant spreadsheets. So in the evenings and on weekends I built the tool I wanted, pairing with Claude Code: 📅 Day-by-day cash-flow forecast with "payment waves" - the clusters of bills that land on the same dates, 1–6 months ahead 🛒 "Can I afford this?" - drop a purchase into your real forecast and see the tightest point ⏱ Hourly & multi-currency income — each source with its own rate and payout cycle; every transaction keeps its real exchange rate 🗓 Yearly costs (insurance, holidays, birthdays) spread into monthly amounts you set aside in advance 🤖 An AI assistant that is not allowed to do math - all numbers come from the same code that draws the charts; the model only explains them No bank sync on purpose - when your income comes from several countries, crypto and cash, manual entry turns out to be more reliable. After sign-up you land in demo data, so you can poke around without entering anything real. I've been living in it for over a month instead of a paid subscription. Now I want to find out if I'm the only one with this problem 🙂 It's free during the beta. I'd love blunt feedback: what's missing for your situation, and what would stop you from trusting a solo developer with your financial data?
