New in Browser Buddy: ask questions about selected text

I just added selected text support to Browser Buddy.

Now you can highlight any part of a webpage and ask Browser Buddy about that specific text from the Chrome side panel.

Instead of asking about the whole page, you can select just the paragraph, list, comment, product description, or section you care about, then ask things like:

  • “Explain this in simple terms”

  • “Summarize this”

  • “Rewrite this as a reply”

  • “What does this mean?”

  • “Turn this into action items”

  • “Make this clearer”

This is useful when you’re reading long articles, forums, docs, Product Hunt posts, Reddit threads, comments, or any page where you only want help with one specific part.

The goal is simple: Browser Buddy should understand not just the page you’re on, but the exact thing you’re looking at.

I’d love feedback from people who use AI while browsing:

Would selected-text actions be useful to you, and what would you want Browser Buddy to do with highlighted text?
