Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built BrowserBuddy AI because I was tired of constantly switching between webpages and ChatGPT, copying text back and forth just to understand a page or write something based on it. BrowserBuddy AI sits in the Chrome side panel, understands the page you’re currently viewing, and lets you chat with it directly. But the bigger idea is skills, reusable prompts that help you take action on the page, like writing Product Hunt comments, Reddit replies, creator outreach messages, summaries, or research notes. It’s still early, but I’d love feedback on the concept, the side-panel workflow, and what skills you’d want built into a browser AI assistant.

Bring your existing AI skills into Browser Buddy

I m working on a new Browser Buddy feature: importing custom skills.

If you already have prompts or AI skills saved as Markdown files, you ll be able to bring them into Browser Buddy instead of recreating them by hand.

You ll also be able to export your Browser Buddy skills as a local backup and import them again later.

I m launching BrowserBuddy AI, a Chrome extension that lets you chat with the webpage you re currently viewing.

The basic idea is simple: instead of copying text into ChatGPT, the assistant sits in the Chrome side panel and understands the page you re on.
