What’s a family photo whose story only one person remembers?

Hi everyone 👋 I’m Xavier, maker of Braid, launching here tomorrow.

Braid started when I noticed my phone held thousands of family photos but almost none of the stories behind them. When I asked relatives about the same photo, everyone remembered it a little differently, and some stories only lived in one person’s head.

So I’m curious: do you have a photo like that? One where the real story is with a parent, grandparent or old friend?

And for those who’ve tried to capture family stories before (journals, voice memos, apps), what made you stop?
