Bqeth is non-custodial, trustless, safe, flexible and decentralized.

People often make a few assumptions about BqETH, so this thread is to help clear those up.
You can visit the FAQ page on our web site to get some of these answers.
- BqETH is non custodial. We don't dispense your assets upon your death, we don't control them, take a cut or even know about them.
Why should you give up privacy or control of your assets just because you need an inheritance solution ?
- BqETH is trustless. We don't simply spread your keys among a few friends by using Shamir Secret Sharing. That re-introduces all kinds of risks. Friends lose phones, passwords and can get hacked.
It's the most popular solution and it's terrible because it leaves one company in possession of a key share in charge of determining that you died. Trust them, they'll never get hacked, pressured or tricked. Yeah, right.
Anytime a company claims to have a military grade bunker or military grade encryption it's just a gimmick that screams 'trust us'.
- BqETH is safe. It's not discussed very much, but we don't paint a target on your back or endanger your beneficiaries. If you're a journalist or a whistleblower, your life might be on the line. Your beneficiaries are encrypted until you die, which means we don't know them either: you don't have to trust us with their identities. And because you can use BqETH with an anonymous wallet, your complete privacy is also possible. If you still want others involved, such as an attorney, it's your choice and only yours.
- BqETH is flexible. It's a digital safe deposit box. Anything goes.

- BqETH is decentralized. Determining that you died is decentralized: no death certificates, no centralized challenge period, no trust required.
Your secrets are encrypted using MPC shares scattered in a decentralized network and the encrypted data is stored on-chain.
Nothing can be erased or cracked open. There is no server to hack, no safe that can be cracked or destroyed. Decryption of your secrets is decentralized and unstoppable.
The bottom line, is that we wanted an ultimate solution that did not compromise on security.
BqETH Inc is just there to help you. We can help you prepare, send you notifications, and help your beneficiaries.
