Finding a bookmark shouldn't depend on remembering where you saved it

One of the problems I wanted to solve with Bookmash was surprisingly simple:

I often remembered what I had bookmarked, but not where I had saved it.

Once you have hundreds of bookmarks across nested folders, knowing that something exists isn't always enough. You still have to remember your own organization system.

So in Bookmash, search works across your entire bookmark collection, regardless of which folder a bookmark lives in.

You can search for what you remember and get to it directly, without navigating the folder structure first.

The browser still remains the source of truth. Bookmash just makes those bookmarks easier to work with.

I'm also really interested in understanding where native browser bookmarks fall short for other people.

What's the most frustrating part of managing bookmarks in Chrome or Firefox for you?

Search? Nested folders? Organization? Or something completely different?
