We kept running into the same problem when researching Singapore’s sovereign balance sheet: the headline government debt number is easy to find, but it tells you surprisingly little about why the liabilities exist. So we built the Singapore Sovereign Funding Machine. Rather than another debt dashboard, it treats the system as financial plumbing. You can follow the major liability channels through the government balance sheet, examine their different functions, and move through the historical structure from 1990 to 2025. The tool is free to use on BondStats. We’d particularly value feedback from people working in fixed income, sovereign research, Singapore markets and financial-system analysis.
