Bloom - A floating flower button that launches your apps.

by
A draggable flower button on your Windows desktop. Click it and your apps fan out as petals. Add software, folders, commands, or 25+ built-in actions. Drag and drop files to add them. Assign global hotkeys to launch any item from the keyboard. Organize with nested groups. Customize with themes, icons, colors, and sizes. Auto-extract icons from .exe files. Always-on-top, auto-unbloom, click-through. Free, no ads, no account.

Hey Product Hunt! I'm the maker of Bloom. I built Bloom because I was tired of cluttered desktops and taskbars full of pinned apps. I wanted something that stays out of the way until I need it, then gives me instant access to everything in one click. The idea started simple: a floating button that opens a ring of app shortcuts. But as I used it daily, it kept growing. I added drag and drop so I could toss files onto it. Then groups so I could organize by project. Then global hotkeys so I could skip the mouse entirely. Then themes because staring at the same button all day gets boring. One thing I focused on was making it feel native and lightweight. No Electron, no web wrapper. Bloom is built with .NET and Avalonia UI, runs lean, and launches apps as independent processes so nothing gets tangled. Some highlights: - Drag and drop any file, folder, or exe onto the flower to add it - 25+ built-in actions (screenshot, lock screen, empty recycle bin, etc.) - Global hotkeys for every item, not just the launcher itself - Nested groups that open as their own mini-blooms - Auto-extracts icons from .exe files - Click-through so it never blocks what's underneath - Fully free, no ads, no account required Would love to hear what you think and what features you'd want next! ## Website https://bloom.viov.nl
