BiBimba 1.5.0 — find QR links and batch-convert images in Finder

by•

Hey everyone! BiBimba 1.5.0 is out.

Two things I wanted to make easier: finding a link inside an old screenshot, and getting images into the format I need.

Find a QR code without remembering its link.
Type “URL” in BiBimba’s search, and screenshots containing QR codes with web links will show up—even when “URL” isn’t written anywhere in the image. Select one, press Ctrl+U, and pick the link to copy or paste.

Convert images right from Finder.
Select an image—or several in the same format—and press Ctrl+Shift+F. Choose PNG, JPG, HEIC, TIFF, or WebP, then press Enter. You can also use Finder’s right-click Services menu. Converted copies are saved beside the originals, which stay untouched.

Both features run locally on your Mac. No uploading your screenshots or files to a converter website.

The update is free for existing customers through the app. If you’re new to BiBimba, there’s a 7-day free trial, then $9 once—no subscription.

Give it a try, and let me know what you’d like to do with your screenshots next!
