What does it mean to “Think Like a Berean”?

by

I've been thinking a lot about the idea behind the Berean App and would love to hear what the Product Hunt community thinks.

In Acts 17:11, the Bereans were described as people who examined the Scriptures for themselves to see whether what they were being taught was true.

That idea feels surprisingly relevant today.

We have more information available to us than ever before, but we also have AI, social media, influencers, different traditions and countless opinions telling us what we should believe.

So what does it actually mean to Think Like a Berean?

For me, it means being willing to ask questions, examine the evidence, compare perspectives and go back to the source rather than simply accepting an answer because someone told you it is true.

That philosophy is one of the reasons I built Berean App — an AI-powered Bible study platform designed to help people explore Scripture more deeply.

But I'm interested in the idea beyond the app:

Do you think “Think Like a Berean” could apply outside of Bible study too?

I'd genuinely love to hear what you think.
