Beacon - Building the Operational Backbone for Professional Services

by
Most “ops tools” for professional services either feel too heavy (enterprise suites) or too narrow (single-purpose apps). We built Beacon to sit in the middle: lightweight enough for lean teams, but structured enough to run delivery with real visibility. What makes this launch different is that it is designed around the day-to-day operating rhythm of a services firm, not just analytics.

Hey Product Hunt, Adil here. We built Beacon because professional services firms often hit the same wall, 1) Delivery quality starts depending on who remembers what 2) Where the latest doc lives 3) Who is chasing updates. The work still gets done, but it gets harder to stay consistent as you take on more clients and projects. We wanted to solve a simple problem: reduce manual coordination, make it easier to stay on top of delivery, and give leaders a clear view of what is happening, without adding layers of process. Our approach evolved a lot while building. We started with report automation, but quickly realised reporting is only the output. The real pain is the day-to-day mess behind it. Everything is spread across docs, spreadsheets, inboxes, and chat, so we built something that brings it together and makes it easier to run. If you run a services firm and constantly feel like you are coordinating instead of delivering, I would love your feedback. What’s the one thing that eats up the most time every week for you?
