Barakah Life - A private, ad-free home for Muslim daily life

by
Most Islamic apps monetize you, with ads everywhere, and data sold to third parties. Barakah is the opposite: completely ad-free, no tracking, no data harvesting. New Muslims Path, Prayer times, Quran, duas, Halal scanner, Quran memorization, and the essentials of Muslim daily life in one calm, beautifully designed space. Privacy-first by principle, not as a feature. Madhab-neutral, works in 5+ languages, and built by a revert who wanted one quiet place for faith, without the noise.

Hey hunters, I'm Sumit, the founder of Barakah Life. I built this out of a frustration I couldn't shake. Almost every Islamic app I tried did the same thing: cluttered the screen with ads, asked for permissions it didn't need, and quietly made money off my data. One of the biggest prayer apps was caught selling users' location data. For something as personal as your faith, that felt wrong. So I built the app I wanted to use. Barakah brings prayer times, Quran, duas, and the essentials of Muslim daily life into one calm, beautifully designed space. No ads. No tracking. No data harvesting. Privacy isn't a premium feature here, it's the whole point. A few things I cared about while building it: - Madhab-neutral, so it works for everyone regardless of school of thought - Multilingual from day one (Arabic, Urdu, Indonesian, and more) - Designed to feel quiet and intentional, not like another noisy app fighting for your attention - Halal places and a Halal scanner for that daily hustle. I came to Islam later in life, and I wanted one quiet place to practice without the noise. That's the whole idea behind it. It's live on iOS today, with Android on the way. I'd genuinely love your feedback, especially on the design and what you'd want to see next. What would make this an everyday app for you? Jazakum Allahu khairan for taking a look. Happy to answer anything in the comments.
