Banquish 1.0.16: three real-page capture fixes — looking for Mac testers
I shipped Banquish 1.0.16 after three capture bugs surfaced on real websites:
- Page content inserted after load could paint over the region you captured.
- Resizing a Google Maps panel quickly could mistakenly open a Peek.
- A hidden always-open dialog could hijack a panel even when it was not truly modal.
All three are fixed.
If your work forces several live websites to stay open at once, I would value one small test on an Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 14 or later:
1. Pick two to four live web regions you normally switch between.
2. Put them together on one Banquish canvas.
3. Quit and reopen the canvas.
4. Tell me whether the original tabs could close, and the first thing that failed or felt unclear.
You can inspect the product and choose whether to download at https://banquish.space/
If you do download it, a reply saying “DMG opened” is enough to distinguish a real transfer from automated link previews. No signup is required for the test.
Please use public, demo, or synthetic pages rather than private client, patient, candidate, legal, financial, or institutional data.
Disclosure: I am the maker of Banquish, and AI assisted with researching and preparing this post.
