Hey there! I built Bajetly because I was frustrated with the existing budgeting apps in the market. They were either too automated (where money would be spent before I even opened the app) or too complicated with features I never used.
As someone who values intentional spending and manual control over my finances, I wanted an app that would help me be more mindful of my spending while keeping things simple and beautiful.
Bajetly is purposely designed to be manual - because I believe that true financial awareness comes from actively engaging with your money decisions. When you manually track your expenses, you become more conscious of your spending habits and make better financial choices.
The app follows two core principles:
It is purposely very manual (for your own good)
It keeps things simple and focused on what matters
