Hi everyone 👋 I built Backtrader Cloud to make Python backtesting workflows easier to prepare, review, and repeat. Backtrader is a powerful open-source ecosystem, but setting up a clean research baseline can still take time. Researchers and developers often need to configure data feeds, timeframes, strategy scaffolds, broker assumptions, analyzers, review checklists, and handoff paths before they can properly inspect a strategy idea. Backtrader Cloud provides a hosted workspace for shaping that first baseline. You can configure: - data feed - trading universe - timeframe - strategy scaffold - broker model - analyzer pack - workspace mode - handoff path The goal is not to promise profit or replace live-market scrutiny. Backtrader Cloud focuses on research, backtesting, review checklists, and reproducible strategy baselines. I’d love feedback from Python developers, quantitative researchers, analysts, students, and anyone building or reviewing backtesting workflows.
