Baccarator - Baccarat side bets' probabilities & EVs in real time

by
Baccarator turns baccarat into a live probability model. Instead of showing fixed theoretical odds, it rebuilds the remaining shoe from cards already dealt and recalculates Player, Banker, Tie, Panda 8, Dragon 7, expected value, and risk in real time. It also includes virtual-point simulations for exploring different scenarios without real-money wagering. Built independently from the probability engine to the iOS interface, testing, and localization.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 The idea started with a simple question: if baccarat is played from a finite shoe, why do most tools only show fixed theoretical probabilities? I wanted to build something that reflects the cards actually remaining. Baccarator lets users record dealt cards, reconstructs the shoe, and recalculates probabilities, expected values, and side-bet data in real time. Building it turned into a much bigger project than I expected. I worked independently on the probability model, simulation engine, SwiftUI interface, testing, localization, and App Store release. One of the hardest parts was turning complicated statistical outputs into something clear enough to understand at a glance while carefully validating the results. The app also includes a virtual-points simulation mode. It does not support real-money wagering and is not connected to any casino or betting platform. This is my first launch as a solo developer, so honest feedback would mean a lot to me — especially on: • Whether the probability displays are easy to understand • Which baccarat side bets or statistics should be added • How the onboarding and overall experience could be improved Thank you for checking out Baccarator! I’ll be here throughout the launch day answering questions and listening to feedback.
