We're building Ayzal AI – an agentic SOC platform that uses autonomous AI agents to handle tier-1 security operations. Think of it as a digital analyst that triages alerts, correlates threat intelligence, and even takes first-line containment actions like isolating endpoints.
Here's what we've learned from speaking with SOC teams:
The challenge we're solving: Alert fatigue is real. SOC analysts spend hours on repetitive triage while adversaries move at machine speed. Traditional automation scripts are brittle – they can't adapt or reason like a human analyst.
The approach: Agentic AI agents act like digital tier-1 analysts . They can:
Triage alerts and correlate signals across tools
Pull context from threat intel feeds
Summarize logs and propose actions
Isolate compromised endpoints when needed
The nuance: While agents are great at the "first 15 minutes" of an investigation, pulling context, checking threat intel, and summarizing, there are real limits. Without clean data or clear playbooks, agents can chase noise or invent steps. Ambiguous signals or multilayered context can still confound even the best-trained agents.
For now, most organizations deploy them to augment, not replace, human analysts. The research shows AI-augmented SOCs reduce false positives and cut investigation time significantly, but trust must be earned through transparent, explainable actions.
