AVIA Studio - Fast and Private Media Sorting for Photographers

Hey Product Hunters! We built AVIA Studio because I kept losing entire evenings to the boring half of my side job (real estate photographer). I'd come back from my shoot, and spend hours afterward sitting there selecting and dragging some of the 200 hundred photos into folders called "kitchen" and "bedroom" before I could start any actual editing work. It recognises the room every photo and clip was taken in, whether a kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom, garage, front entry, backyard, exterior, aerial, and many more, then files everything into Photos/kitchen, Videos/bedroom and so on, all renamed in capture order. It detects faces, ignores the bystanders in the background, and picks the sharpest crop of each person for you to name afterward. You name a face once and every other photo of them is recognized and tagged so your sorting by individual becomes so much faster. On a wedding shoot it goes further and sorts by who's actually in the frame: the bride alone, the groom alone, the two of them, group shots, etc. and the naming for a wedding shoot is so much quicker than having to type in names for every face - you choose between bride, bride's family, bridesmaid, groom, groom's family, and best man. This process takes no more than 2 minutes on average. It also transcribes the speech in your video, and not just to an .srt next to the clip. The words become searchable, so you can type "granite countertops" and land on the exact video that has that. Personally, as I record my shots, I just speak any description of what im shooting. So i'll say "kitchen, sink, oven, fridge". Boom, just like that, I can search my entire shot with any of those words and the right videos come up! Then the delivery bit Develop looks applied to real RAW sensor data (CR3, NEF, ARW, DNG). Client-ready copies built to a size budget — tell it 15 MB per photo and it picks the frame size to hit that while keeping the BEST quality. An editor timeline with a bin per room for Premiere, Resolve or Final Cut, with each clip's subtitles sitting beside it. Then send to Google Drive, iCloud, Proton, Google Photos, Apple Photos, or AirDrop (for macOS), or scan a QR code to share between non-macOS devices and phones/tablets. BEST OF ALL? You know how we are all concerned about our privacy in this AI world? Well, AVIA Studio protects that privacy. All of it runs on your machine. No uploads, no cloud processing, no "we may use your content to improve our services". Your client's house and your client's wedding stay on your laptop.
