Sneak peek: Render Studio 2.0 is almost here

Hey everyone,

A quick look at what we're about to ship. Render Studio 2.0 will land in Autonomyware.

Autonomyware takes a product from a single prompt to engineered parts and a full bill of materials, autonomously. Render Studio 2.0 is where that model becomes a shot you can actually use: a hero image for a pitch deck, a store listing, a client review or a turntable for social.

Here's what's coming:

  • Light: 8 HDRI environments (Studio, White, Softbox, Showroom, Dark, Window, Daylight, Sunset), key, fill and rim control, AgX or ACES, exposure and white balance.

  • Stage: studio, light, dark or solid backdrops, a gloss floor with real reflections, contact shadows and your own table colour.

  • Material: pick any part from the BOM and give it its own finish and colour. 11 metals, plus plastic, paint, glass and more.

  • Camera: 35 to 100 mm lenses, perspective or orthographic, depth of field, quick views and saved shots.

  • Output: Draft, High or Ultra quality, up to 16:9 4K, transparent PNG, a turntable as WebM and an 8-angle PNG set.

Five presets (Hero, White, Dramatic, Golden, Clay) get you a finished look in one click.

Everything runs natively. Renders are captured straight from the live studio in your browser: nothing to export, no plugins, no second tool.

And it stays optional. Your product is still engineered end to end on its own. Render Studio is there for the moments you want to direct the shot yourself.

Next on our list: finishes that write back to the BOM.

Follow this thread and you'll be the first to know when it's live, so you can try it on your own products. Until then, tell us what you'd use it for first and which look we should add next.

Glad it's optional.. If the product already comes out engineered on its own, having a render tab only for when you want to direct the shot feels right. I'd probably just use Clay or White most of the time....

That's exactly our point of view. Everything stays autonomous, but we think that extra layer of interaction will be useful for quite a few people.

looking really nice!

The update looks amazing, can't wait to try it out 💪

Thank you Jonas! Can’t wait to see what you create with it.

I am so excited about this. A great way to show what you build.

The turntable as Web M is the one I'd use first. no exporting to some other tool just to get a spinning clip for social

Indeed, I can see that being especially useful for quick WIP updates too.

Five one-click presets is a good call. most people just want a good looking shot fast, and can fine tune later if they feel like it...
