TradingView users: do you automate your trades or still execute them manually?
I've been spending quite a bit of time around TradingView and MT5 lately, and something got me curious.
TradingView makes it easy to build strategies, indicators and alerts, but when it comes to actual execution, a lot of traders still seem to have a manual step somewhere in the process.
For normal trading that may be fine. But if you're working with strategies that generate frequent signals, manual execution can become the weak point — especially when timing matters.
I'm curious how people here are handling this today.
Do you keep execution manual because you want that final confirmation before entering a trade, or have you automated the whole process?
For those who have automated it, what has been the biggest challenge: reliability, latency, risk management, broker differences, or something else?
Would be interesting to hear from people who have actually built or used this kind of setup.
