Hey Product Hunt š
I'm Pritam, and I built Atom because good tutoring shouldn't cost money.
Atom is a free AI tutor that covers any subject you'd study, from math and science to history, languages, and coding. What makes it different is that it's actually calibrated to level. There are four tiers, each named after a physicist:
Archimedes for elementary and middle school
Newton for high school, including AP and IB
Heisenberg for college undergraduate
Einstein for graduate and beyond
Pick the tier that matches where you are, and Atom explains things at that depth. No more "explain this like I'm five" prompts just to keep answers from being condescending or over your head.
A few things I care about with this launch:
š Free forever, no login. Hosted on GitHub Pages with a Cloudflare Worker in front of open-weight models. No credit card, no email capture, no premium tier waiting in the wings.
š Diagrams as first-class output. Most people learn visually, especially for anything involving structure or process. Atom generates diagrams as part of its explanations, not as an afterthought.
š ļø Built by one person on nights and weekends. Which means it's rough in places. I'd genuinely love your feedback: what subject did you try, what tier did you pick, what worked, what broke.
A few good things to try if you want a quick taste:
Ask Archimedes to explain fractions with a pizza diagram
Ask Newton to walk through projectile motion with graphs
Ask Einstein about tensor calculus
Try it and let me know what you think. Especially interested in what's confusing, what's slow, and what you wish it did but doesn't yet. I'll be in the comments all day.
