Hey Hunters! Matt from the Jira Ops team here. I've been building products at Atlassian for over 12 years – first on Confluence, then Bitbucket, and now Jira Ops. As an engineer and then engineering manager, I led and personally fixed many incidents at Atlassian as we've grown from a startup into a global company serving millions of customers. I know how crucial it is to have the right tools when the sh*t hits the fan. That's why I'm incredibly proud to be announcing Jira Ops today. It's a tool designed for modern incident management, offering your team a single place to respond, resolve, and learn from every incident. Here's a brief highlight reel: - Integrated with leading alerting tools like OpsGenie, PagerDuty and xMatters to raise an incident issue, keep it in sync, and page additional people - A real-time incident timeline which automatically pulls together key events across all your tools, to provide visibility of what's going on with the incident - Integration with Slack, to spin up a dedicated channel and add selected messages to the incident timeline - Ability to link and update your Statuspage, to keep your customers in the loop Backed by the Jira platform, which provides advanced workflow and automation capabilities (some bits still WIP for Jira Ops) - And coming soon, incident postmortems in Confluence, and MTTR reports so you can learn and improve.
