Hi everyone, I’m sharing aside-relay, a self-hosted web client for using Aside from your phone or another browser. I forked aside-remote and expanded the UI and features. You can check running tasks, send follow-up messages, and respond to approval requests without being at your Mac. You can also watch the agent’s browser and interact with it directly. It includes: - Streaming chat and model selection - Browser previews and remote controls - File and interactive HTML previews - Editable follow-up queues - Push notifications when tasks finish - A mobile-friendly UI with customizable themes and fonts It requires the Aside app and CLI on a Mac, and both the Mac and Aside need to stay running. The relay doesn’t require an additional AI API key. You host it yourself and connect through Tailscale, a VPN, or your own domain. Cloudflare is optional. The project is MIT-licensed. Setup instructions and screenshots are in the README. If you use Aside, I’d appreciate feedback on what feels awkward on mobile or what’s missing.
