Hi David, I live in Europe, and I need to comply with GDPR. In particular, in the event of an audit, I need to be able to prove consent by keeping records of how subscribers joined my list (things like the date consent was given, who filled out the form, and what specifically they consented to). Can SendFox do this?

Hey @andreboso 👋 Samantha here from SendFox Customer Support. In SendFox you can view specific contact information on their contact page. On this page we provide information on how they signed-up to your account (i.e a specific form, landing page, API, etc), date that they were added to your mailing list, the mailing lists they belong to, first name, last name, email and IP address. Hope this helps :)

@sam_pty cool thanks! If I collect emails through a Sumo popup connected to MailFox, will I be able to record all of these data too?

yes, if you collect emails through a Sumo pop-up, the sign-up/source information will appear as API

Wow, this is the first email service I've seen that doesn't charge an arm and a leg! A few question about pricing which I didn't see on your website. I have around 8000 email subscribers that I send a weekly email to. How much does it cost? Do you charge per subscriber or per mail sent? MailChimp isn't good for me because they charge per subscriber even if you don't send a single email. I'm looking for an email service that doesn't charge per subscriber but per send.

@rayliverified We have a current lifetime deal on AppSumo (https://appsumo.com/sendfox/) and you can see the pricing at the bottom of the page. You will need to buy 2 codes to have a contact limit of 10k. We don't offer lifetime pricing specifically for 8k contacts. We charge per 5k subscribers.

Looks like great beginnings and an awesome product here. I just bought the $49 lifetime AppSumo deal and am looking forward to using it. Seems like there are some bugs with importing lists from MailChimp though that are hindering me from using it right away. I have a list that has 125 contacts in MailChimp that has 139 contacts when imported to SendFox. I also have a much smaller list of 7 contacts that I imported into SendFox and it is showing 90 subscribers. None of them are the same, and I have no idea where they are coming from. Very disappointed. Your team closed my account because i sent "affiliate emails" without any notice. These affiliate links were sent for my other website. The very bad part is that all is gone now including my list of subscribers.

I find how simple is to set up and use the platform, more valuable than its affordability. We are a bootstrapped company and it is mostly my business partner and I doing email marketing. We have no previous knowledge on using this type of system and it's been a breeze to set up our campaigns and newsletters. Kudos to the support team you at SendFox, particularly Garry. He has been extremely helpful.

I used to hate logging into mailchimp because it was so slow and complicated, and I would actively avoid it. It was real easy to migrate over, and I like SendFox a lot so far

By far the smoothest sailing ever. Sendfox gets a 10 star rating if it was possible. The setup is so intuitive and well organised. Transitioning has NEVER been easier. I have for 4 organisations, now 4 sendfox accounts setup. It is that Good! From an experienced user have been bogged down with: - Automizy - Active Campaign - Mailchimp - Mailerlite (or shall i say heavy) all these 4 platforms are clunky and over-complicate the process of simply getting the message out to your subscribers.
