Hello I’m Zack, the maker of Appoint. The idea for Appoint was born right in my own home. My wife is a dentist, and I work in IT. For a long time, I watched her struggle with the daily administration of her clinic. She was spending countless hours organizing her day, booking appointments, and dealing with the schedule instead of doing what she does best caring for her patients. We realized that scheduling shouldn't be a daily chore. So, we built Appoint with a single core philosophy: Set it up perfectly once, and let it run on autopilot. While it was inspired by the demanding needs of a dental clinic, Appoint is built to help any professional or small business owner who wants to reclaim their time. Behind the scenes (The Tech): Coming from an IT background, I decided to fully embrace the new era of development. I actually "vibecoded" the vast majority of Appoint using Claude. Acting as the architect and letting Claude handle the heavy lifting allowed me to iterate incredibly fast. I could push updates almost instantly based on my wife's daily, real-world feedback from the clinic. It was a game-changer for building as a solo founder!

Love that everything from patient history to inventory lives in one place instead of jumping between five different tabs. The dashboard layout looks really clean too, like someone actually thought about how a busy clinic day flows.
