I'm launching ApplySync in 2 days — built it after spending 3 hours on a single Workday form.

I'm launching ApplySync on Thursday and I'm equal parts excited and

terrified.

Here's the honest story:

I was applying for jobs and hit a Workday form. One form. It took me

3 hours — re-typing the same work history I'd already entered on 47

other platforms, uploading my resume for the 48th time, watching the

page crash and lose everything.

I snapped. So I built ApplySync.

It's a Chrome extension that:

→ Auto-fills Workday, LinkedIn, Greenhouse, Lever, and 10+ other ATS

platforms

→ Handles Shadow DOMs and React forms (the stuff that breaks every

other autofill tool)

→ Scores your resume against the job description in real-time using AI

→ Generates tailored cover letters without leaving the page

→ Auto-attaches your resume PDF — no more "browse files" every time

The hardest technical challenge? Getting React to actually acknowledge

the filled values. Standard DOM manipulation doesn't trigger React's

internal state. We had to simulate real typing events. Took weeks to

get right.

I'm a solo developer from Lucknow, India and this is my first product

launch. I'm genuinely nervous.
