I'm affiliated with AnyCrawler. AnyCrawler Free Crawl is the public entry point for checking whether a single public URL extracts cleanly into JSON and Markdown. The request is simple: send one URL and inspect the returned fields, including requested_url, status_code, results.title, results.description, and results.markdown. There is no account or API key on this free page. It is intended for quick tests, prototypes, and for deciding whether a page should move into a fuller crawl workflow. The important limitation is freshness: public responses can be cached for up to 24 hours, so this is not the right tool when you need a guaranteed fresh recrawl. It is also not meant for login-protected or private URLs. If a page depends on client-side rendering, a thin or incomplete result usually means the free crawl path is the wrong method for that page, not that the page itself is broken. The goal is to make the first check low-friction so people can evaluate extraction quality before they spend more time on downstream processing.
