ANTiHEX - Dodge the colors of any YouTube video with your mouse

by•
ANTiHEX turns YouTube videos into a color-dodging game. Each video has a color you may touch; keep your dot on it and away from everything else as the video plays. The motion itself is the obstacle course. Play solo with a ranking for every video Multiplayer: everyone plays the same video at the same time, then votes for the next one by moving their dot Make your own: upload a video made in After Effects, Cavalry, etc., pick the colors, and it becomes a game. No coding. Free, no ads, no login.

Hi Product Hunt! I'm Not1ce, the solo maker of ANTiHEX.

I love motion graphics, and I kept thinking that the best ones already look like a bullet-hell stage. So I built a game where the video itself is the level: you move a dot and must stay on one color while the video plays.

A few things I'm proud of:
- Any YouTube video can become a stage, and creators can design their own levels just by animating in After Effects, Cavalry, etc.
- Multiplayer runs everyone on the same video in sync, and you vote for the next video by moving your dot into one of four areas.

It needs a small free Chrome extension that reads the colors inside the embedded YouTube player. It stores and sends nothing.

The demo video uses "Triangle | Motion Graphics" by Leol (with permission).

I'd love to hear which videos you'd want to play, and any feedback!
