I'm the creator of Amber — a dedicated home for the things you reuse every single day.

Amber was born out of frustration. I kept losing to the same small defeat: I'd write a great reply to a client, send it, and two weeks later write it again from scratch. The PDF I show every new client lived in a chat thread I'd sent to myself. My address, tax number, and bank details were retyped into every form, and usually wrong on the first pass.

I realized none of this is a notes problem. Notes are for thinking. This is the exact opposite: it’s for things you’ve already finished thinking about and just need to access again.

So I built Amber. It’s one place for the things you reuse, and only that. Keep it once, reach for it in a tap.

Here is how it works:

  • Beyond just text: I quickly realized half of what I reached for wasn't text. So in Amber, screenshots, rate cards, and signed PDFs are treated as real cards, not just clunky attachments.

  • Smart Search: Amber reads the words inside your files. A receipt or a document is instantly findable just by searching for the words written on it.

  • Zero-friction onboarding: The worst part of a new snippet app is retyping your life. Amber imports seamlessly from TextExpander, Raycast, Alfred, Apple's Text Replacements, CSV, JSON, or Markdown. You can preview every snippet before keeping it, and one tap undoes the whole import.

The part I am most proud of: The principles behind it. I made three core decisions that I will always defend:

  1. Absolute Privacy: There are no accounts and no Amber servers. Your cards sync entirely through your own iCloud. I cannot read them. There is no tracking, no analytics, and no ads.

  2. No Subscriptions: Pro is one single payment.

  3. Your Data is Yours: Nothing is ever held hostage. Even if you don't use Pro, your cards will always stay readable and copyable.

Amber is available today across iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
