I learned a lot from this book, too.
This is the book that I recommend to all entrepreneurs aspiring to raise venture capital. It is clear, concise, and full of good examples about how venture financings work.
I recommend this for young VC's as well, great crash course
Must read for anyone embarking on a fundraise.
will join us for an AMA tomorrow at 1130 AM PST about his other book, Startup Communities.
I need this so much right now. Raising money taken all my focus away from building product and selling to "learning how VC thinks".
This is a must read. It makes many things clear. Obviously you won't understand everything when you read it, but you know what to look out for.
This was the best book I've read to help me figure out the contracts for our Angel Investment deal when we started out. It's an amazing read and the best resource I've found to this very moment. (regarding investment deals). I was really happy to find it back in 2012.
The bible before, during and after fund raising. My cheat sheet!
One of the few books I recommend as a necessity to anyone looking to raise capital.
