Hey Product Hunt 👋 One of the hardest things to teach AI is when not to write. We originally built AlsonAI around stories. But as more people started creating with us, they brought writing that didn’t fit neatly into characters, scenes, conflict, and traditional story arcs: poems, spoken word, rhymes, and pieces where twelve lines might already say everything that needs to be said. That created a very different product problem. With poetry, generating more is often the wrong answer. Meaning can live in a pause, a repetition, a line break, or one word placed exactly where the writer intended it. So we built Poetry around a different question: How can AI add value to what a creator already has without getting in the way of it? AlsonAI can now work with poetry, spoken word, rhymes, and other nontraditional writing and help creators turn those words into illustrated books while respecting the structure and voice they started with. This has been one of our most requested additions, and we’re excited to finally put it in your hands.
