Aide- Student Data App - A simple, and smart, digital assistant for teachers

by•
Aide stands out by focusing on offline reliability, simplicity, and complete student tracking. Unlike web platforms that lag on poor school Wi-Fi, Aide is 100% offline-first. It goes beyond grades by tracking student talents, interests, and progress badges to help select students for events. It combines timetables, marks, homework, and meeting notes into one zero-bloat UI without subscription paywalls or ads.

Seeing my parents, both dedicated teachers, spend hours every evening struggling with fragmented administrative work—juggling paper registers, multiple spreadsheets, and complicated software—inspired me to build AIDE. I wanted to solve the burden of repetitive classroom admin and eliminate dependence on unreliable school Wi-Fi by creating a clean, 100% offline-first assistant that brings attendance, timetables, marks, and student talent tracking into one place. During development, my approach evolved from building a simple record-keeping tool to focusing deeply on holistic student growth. After listening to feedback from my parents and early test users, I realized teachers needed quick ways to identify unique student talents and track individual achievements, leading me to integrate dedicated skills tracking and progress badges into the app's final launch.
