What's the #1 phrase or tell that makes you immediately realize a post was written by AI?

by•

I've been building AI Slop Blocker (a local chrome extension that collapses AI gen posts across X, LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube, Google Search, Threads, Bluesky, Facebook and now HN).

While tuning our on device heuristic + Naive Bayes detector for 2026 feeds, the funniest part has been seeing how fast the "tells" of ai text evolve.

A year ago it was "delve", "tapestry" and "in today's fast-paced digital world"

Now it's:

- "It's not just X — it's Y."

- "The catch?" / "The kicker?" (This is popular with ChatGPT)

- One-sentence per line LinkedIn bro-poetry with the three rule ("No VC funding. No big team. No excuses.")

- Reply guy bots paraphrasing the OP tweet in 2 sentences with a question at the end

What phrase or pattern makes you immediately mute/scroll past a post right now?
Drop it below and if it's a repeatable tell, I'll add it straight into the detector before launch day
