The album's creation was partly inspired by the trio's 2015 musical collaboration with flamenco artists Dorantes and Carles Benavent . This experience shaped their interpretations of timeless flamenco pieces and original compositions on the album, which the group themselves described as "the best album Taksim Trio could ever record".
