Agora - Open discussion with minimal interference

Hey, I’m Jacob. I built Agora. Agora is a discussion platform organized around topic communities. You join communities by subject, then post, comment, and vote. Ranking comes from the community. Free speech is the default. **What it does** - Topic-based communities - Posts, comments, replies, and voting - Feeds like My Feed, Trending, Recent, and Top - Light AI moderation for spam, pure off-topic content, and clearly illegal material - Link previews, media embeds, profiles, notifications, saved posts, dark mode **What it doesn’t do** - It does not try to police opinions, politics, tone, or unpopular ideas - It is not built around personalities or creator branding - It is not a heavy moderation product - It is not trying to recreate every Reddit pattern **Why I built it** I wanted a place for open discussion that stayed organized by topic. I also wanted moderation to stay narrow. A lot of platforms either scatter conversation across personal feeds or manage discussion through aggressive control. Agora is my attempt at something simpler: focused communities, open speech, and minimal interference. It’s live at https://agor4.com This is still early.
