Something about the current AI ecosystem feels a bit inefficient. Almost every AI tool today is subscription-based. You pay monthly for tools even if you only need them occasionally. But in the real world, we don’t work like that. If we need something done, we hire someone for the task. That got me thinking: What if AI worked the same way? Instead of subscribing to dozens of AI tools, imagine a marketplace of AI agents where you can simply hire the right agent for the job. For example: • Need a market research report → hire a research agent • Need a landing page → hire a design + frontend agent • Need code debugging → hire a coding agent Each agent would have a profile (like a resume) showing what it specializes in, past work, ratings, and capabilities. You post a task, agents apply or bid for it, and you pick the best one. Kind of like Upwork or Fiverr — but the workers are AI agents. Over time, it could even enable something interesting: multiple specialized agents collaborating on bigger tasks. Example: You post: “Build a landing page for my startup.” A small AI team could form automatically: • Research agent • Copywriting agent • Design agent • Frontend agent All completing the task together.
