Aevum - Confront time. Live fully.

by
Aevum replaces your new tab with a living grid of your entire life. White blocks: weeks lived. Dark blocks: what remains. One glowing square is you — right now. ✨ A quiet philosophical instrument, not a productivity tool. Every new tab becomes a two-second reckoning with your finite time. 4,160 weeks. ⏳ Real-time chronometer to the millisecond. ~51 KB. Zero tracking. Open source. Your life, rendered in real time. The code is open. The time is not. → Chrome • Firefox • GitHub

Hey everyone, I built Aevum because I was tired of opening new tabs on autopilot. Every day we make dozens of micro-decisions about how we spend the next few minutes, and I wanted something that would make me pause for just two seconds and actually see the bigger picture. So I made a simple living grid of an entire life. The white blocks are the weeks already lived. The dark blocks are what remains. One single square glows at the boundary — that square is you, right now. It’s not a productivity tool. It’s a quiet philosophical instrument. Nothing more. The whole extension is ~51 KB, uses zero tracking, no servers, and only the storage permission. It’s fully open source because I believe tools like this should just exist, free forever. I’d genuinely love to know what you feel the first time you see your own grid. The Chrome link is in the product page, Firefox too, and the code is on GitHub if you want to look inside. Thank you for checking it out. — Souvik
