Aestheticam 2 - The world's worst camera app, now worse than ever!

by
Most camera apps try to make your photos look good. Aestheticam deliberately does the opposite. 10 presets of curated destruction including deep fried JPEG artifacts, VHS tracking errors, pixel sorting, face melting, laser eyes, cursed emojis, thermal vision, and explosion overlays. For over a decade, it's been the only app actively trying to ruin your photos, and this version is the most chaotic yet. Zero control over the effects. Maximum destruction every time.

Hey ProductHunt! I built the first version of Aestheticam back in 2016 with one goal: create the absolute worst camera experience possible. People loved how chaotic and destructive it was—turning normal photos into glitchy vaporwave nightmares with random clip art, effects, and inexplicable imagery. A decade later, after countless emails requesting I do so, I knew it was time to bring it back. This new version has 10 preset modes ranging from "Deep Fried" to "Total Annihilation." I've added effects like chromatic aberration, VHS tracking errors, pixel sorting, face melting, laser eyes, cursed emojis, thermal camera vision, and explosion overlays. The deep frying now goes to 11. You still have zero control over what happens to your photos. That's the point. The app got coverage from Digital Trends, PetaPixel, and others back in the day because it was so deliberately terrible. If you miss the aesthetic chaos of early internet culture or just want to create cursed images for your group chat, this is for you. Free on iOS.
