Ada By Adalo - Making an app as easy as sending a text!
by•
Since 2019, we have built more than 3 million apps with Adalo. Along the way, they asked for two things: apps that scale and run faster, and an easier way to build them. So we built Ada from the ground up. Describe your app in a few words, and Ada builds the real thing: the screens, sign-in, and a database designed around your app, built to scale. Payments connect in a few steps, the Publishing Studio gets apps store-ready, and code export means what you make stays yours.

Hi Product Hunt 👋🏼
I’m Astha, CEO of Adalo.
Since 2019, Makers have built more than 3M apps on Adalo. Then AI put no-code platforms into an existential crisis - and we had to ask ourselves an honest question: where do we still add value?
We kept coming back to three things. 1. Building an app should feel as simple as putting together a slide deck. (best. compliment. ever.) 2. Getting into the App Store and Google Play is still hard, and generating code is only part of that journey. And 3. when code is a dime a dozen, the infrastructure & support behind it matters more than ever.
Meet Ada: you describe your app, Ada asks a few questions, then builds it with
sign-in & auth
a database and your screens
edit by clicking or chatting
add payments
push notifications and maps
connecting to any tool with custom actions
translate into other languages
publish to the App Store, Google Play and the web
push over-the-air updates,
and (!!!) export your code anytime.
Underneath, we rebuilt our infrastructure from the ground up, because apps built in 2026 deserve infrastructure built for 2026. The builder, the features, even our identity are all new. Not just an MVP builder anymore!
I can’t tell you what the past few months have been like : it’s felt like a marathon at sprint pace, and I’m so proud of this team for having the courage to start again. It isn’t perfect yet. We’ll keep shipping, listening and getting better, so please tell us what you think.
@astha_srivastava Brick by brick! And we have the best landing page too 🤓
@gabrial_fancon2 We do!!! Best team ever. Miles to go before we sleep. 🚀
Hey everyone!
I'm Dilon, and I look after Adalo's forum and socials. Before joining the team last year, I was one of the regulars in the forum. I started building with Adalo five years ago, and damn, time flies...
I got the opportunity to try Ada before it launched, and I was not going to let it slip by. "Just one more app," I kept telling myself. Then I built another, and another, and another, and ended up with more apps than I had planned. It got a little addictive, honestly, and I think you will get hooked too.
The one I spent the most time building with Ada is Shoplore, a clothing marketplace where shoppers buy from independent fashion stores. It has a home feed with new arrivals, search by category, products from different stores, chat with sellers, a cart with promo codes, and a profile with orders, order receipts, favorites, and saved addresses. The same app runs on iPhone, Android, and the web.
Here is a quick look: https://youtu.be/s7qIuS_iJig
The image below shows the first screen of four of the apps I built, from left to right:
• Marque, a vehicle marketplace where you can buy or reserve supercars, SUVs, trucks, motorbikes, and more
• Shoplore, the clothing marketplace from the video
• Sketch, a drawing app that saves every layer, so you can edit your drawings later
• My PM, a project manager app with projects, tasks, and analytics
Well, I have more, but I will stop before this turns into a blog post 😅
What would you let Ada cook first? 🧑🍳
@dilon_panda All these apps are so so cool!
@gabrial_fancon2 Haha, thank you so much! Ada did the heavy lifting, I just kept saying ‘one more’ 😎
@dilon_panda the coolest app-maker we have in-house - always breaking the boundaries of what we can do :) Fire apps, Dilon! 🔥
@astha_srivastava Thank you very much, Astha! Easy to break boundaries when the team keeps building better tools, can’t wait to see what everyone else builds! 🙌
@dilon_panda These look incredible 😍
Marque's curved category tabs with the Ferrari front and centre, Shoplore's dark fashion feed, the soft pastels on Sketch and the clean status groups on My PM. Four apps, four completely different styles, all from Ada.
And I can confirm the "just one more app" addiction is real 😂
The interesting thing about AI app builders is whether the end result is something you can actually launch, scale and own.
Ada seems to be thinking beyond the prototype stage. Native iOS and Android apps, built-in databases, authentication, API integrations, payments and even code export, wow!
Excited to see how far this goes. Great launch, Adalo team.
@neelabja Thankyou Neelabja! We've tried to make sure we give as much autonomy & ownership back to the makers, while providing all the support they need to actually end up in the app stores. Can't wait to see what you build!
@neelabja That's the gap we kept hearing about. A prototype is easy now. Getting through App Review and keeping the app running is the hard part, and it's what Ada is built for.
Hi Product Hunt, Gabrial here!
I work on growth at Adalo, and I’m hunting this one because I’ve watched it get built from the inside for the past year.
Adalo first launched in November 2019 and since then, 3M+ apps have been made on it. Over those years, people told us the same thing in a lot of different ways: great place to start, hard place to stay once your app grew. They were right. So the team rebuilt the platform from the ground up, and Ada is what came out of it. There’s a gallery of images that show the improvements, so when you ask us if your app can scale, the answer is ABSOLUTELY.
Here’s what it does:
You describe the app you’ve been picturing, and Ada builds it, with sign-in generated for you and a database designed around your app, structured to scale.
Connect Stripe and in-app purchases in a few steps.
Publish to iOS, Android, and the web.
Need a change later? Push it straight to your users’ phones without going through TestFlight. Is something not working right? Fix it with AI.
The code is yours to export. We do NOT lock you in!
Your app now doing better in a foreign country? You can localize the app into different languages!
Not only mobile apps but also Desktop apps too :)
I’ll be honest, this is the most involved I’ve ever been in a launch, and I’m nervous and excited in roughly equal parts. I’ve seen how much this team put into Ada, the late nights, the things they threw out and rebuilt because good enough wasn’t, and I’m really proud of what they’ve made. Being able to put it in front of you today means a lot to me.
Two things I’d love from you:
Tell us the app you’ve been meaning to build and haven’t. We’ll tell you how Ada would handle it, honestly, including where it wouldn’t.
If you built on Adalo before and left, say why. That feedback is what got us here.
Thanks for having us back 🚀
@gabrial_fancon2 Can't wait to make Ada the coolest, fastest, easiest and most robust app builder out there! 🚀
@astha_srivastava all the way to the top!
Hi Product Hunt! 👋
I'm Jimmy, Adalo's CTO.
Over the past months, our team has been working hard to fundamentally rethink how mobile apps are built.
With Ada, we wanted to go beyond traditional no-code development. Instead of relying on a JSON-based runtime, Ada generates real React Native code, allowing anyone to turn an idea into a fully functional native mobile app simply by describing what they want to build.
But generating an app is only half the story.
One of our biggest priorities was making sure that what Ada builds is something you can actually launch, maintain, and scale.
That's why Ada doesn't stop at code generation. Every app continues to benefit from the established Adalo ecosystem, including databases, authentication, integrations, and publishing infrastructure. You're not left with a prototype that you have to figure out how to turn into a real product.
Our goal has always been to combine the flexibility and performance of real code with the reliability and simplicity of an established platform, without sacrificing the freedom to build exactly what you envision.
Seeing Ada evolve from our earliest prototypes into something people are already using to bring their ideas to life has been incredibly rewarding.
And we're only getting started. There's a lot more coming!
I'd love to hear your thoughts, feedback, and what you'd like to see us improve or build next. We're listening!
@jimmy_noujaim What I love about this is that the “launch, maintain, and scale” bit isn’t just a slogan for you. You spent years as a maker working around the old builder’s limits, and now you get to remove them. If anyone has a technical question today, Jimmy is your guy!
@gabrial_fancon2 Exactly! Having been on the maker side myself, I know how important it is to have something you can actually rely on beyond the initial build. That's been a huge part of our thinking with Ada: not just helping people build apps, but giving them everything they need to keep those apps running and growing. Really appreciate you recognizing that! 🙌
@jimmy_noujaim The "launch, maintain, scale" part is what I live in every day. Having real code underneath and the platform around it is the combination I've wanted for years.
Hey everyone! 👋
I’m Shipra (Ships). I look after Client Happiness and the Expert Program at Adalo. I'm an animation & 3D modelling noob, so when I got early access to Ada, I had one question: can it actually make a nice UI? 👀
I said “just one screen”. That was a lie. Here’s what happened 😅
📚 Shipra’s Children’s Books is the one I spent the most time on Bedtime read-along stories with a cozy library splash, and an accessibility menu that changes the whole book in one tap: Dyslexia (easier letters, more space), Focus for ADHD (one line at a time), Big & clear, text size and calm motion. Kids log in with a library card and a secret paw code 🐾
✒️ Marginalia, a writing app where your cursor becomes a fountain pen and leaves ink behind. Yes, I spent way too long just drawing loops.
🧵 Kalaa, a handmade clothing store where you dye a Nehru jacket live in indigo, madder, turmeric… with real Indian crafts like Bandhani and Ajrakh.
🚩 Monk Gate, a “small circles, real tea” social app that opens with fluttering prayer flags. You set a little lamp to tell friends if you’re free to meet ☕
🌙 Orrery, an AI astrology app with orbiting energy planets and a liquid moon that fills up with your energy for the day.
I built all of these just by chatting with Ada, and they run on iPhone, Android, and the
web.
I have more, but I’ll stop before this turns into my design portfolio 😄
What would you ask Ada to design first? 🎨
@thakurr Marginalia by far is so creative and really shows you can really build really cool stuff with Ada!
@gabrial_fancon2 Thank you Gabrial! 🙌 Marginalia was such a fun one to build. Honestly, Ada made it easy to go from idea to something that feels real, way faster than I expected.
Would love to hear what everyone else is building with Ada too, drop your apps below! ✨
Hey!!
I'm Jahnavi, Client Happiness Advocate at Adalo, and I wanted to share something cool I built with our new AI builder, Ada!
Here's what I managed to create with just a few prompts and a little creativity.
Google Maps integration
ChatGPT integration
Image recognition to read uploaded problems
Speech-to-text recognition
I was able to build an entire app that solves math problems and almost any equation using a ChatGPT integration. Users can simply upload an image of a problem, and the app reads it and provides a solution. It also supports speech-to-text, so you can speak your questions instead of typing them.
And that's not all! I also built an Instagram clone, complete with a social-media-style experience. It was fun experimenting with how quickly I could bring an app idea to life, from the interface to its core functionality.
And the best part? It took me just 10 minutes and a carefully curated prompt!
This is my newest creation, and it makes me wonder what else people can build with Ada.
I'm genuinely excited to see what everyone comes up with and how creative the community can get. Can't wait to see your apps!
@jahnavi_hb Being able to connect an API to your app is such an underrated feature, and even I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!
Hi Product Hunt 👋
I'm Kyle, a Forward Deployed Engineer at Adalo. My job is the part after "it works on my phone": getting makers' and clients' apps through the App Store and Google Play and keeping them running once real people use them.
So when I got early access to Ada, I didn't test whether it could build a nice screen. Dilon and Ships already proved that 😄 I tested whether what it builds can actually ship.
What stood out to me:
• Sign-in and the database are built in from the first prompt, not bolted on later
• Publishing to iOS, Android and the web from the same app
• Over-the-air updates, so a typo fix doesn't mean another week in App Review
• Code export, so you're never stuck
What's stopped you from getting an app into the stores before? Tell me, and I'll tell you honestly how Adalo can handle it.
@kyle_belford I've seen people stuck on a small fix update on their app that can take up to 2 weeks to get the review approved! I can't wait for people to use it to ship faster.
@gabrial_fancon2 Same! As someone who struggles with spelling, I've shipped my share of typos 😅. A one-line fix shouldn't take two weeks. Now it doesn't 🙌
@kyle_belford Haha, happy to hear that 🙌 If something has ever stopped you from getting an app into the stores, answer his question above. Trust me, Kyle has helped more makers publish their apps and keep them running than he can count!
@dilon_panda Appreciate that 🙌 The offer stands: tell me what's held up your app, and I'll tell you how to get it through.
I teach a lot of university classes on prototyping, and I always teach Adalo first. I’m personally fond of the classic builder, but now Ada makes the learning curve to get students building even smaller.
