Restaurant Menu Visualizer - Share the menu with Ava and see what each dish may look like
Sometimes you go to a restaurant, take a seat at the table, start reading the menu and then... "What even is this? Too many French terms. I don’t even know what I should order." You’ve been there, right? That’s why I built this feature, so Ava could show me what a dish may look like, without asking the waiter.
Ava is not fully baked yet, so when you talk to her, she may say stupid things. It's all part of growing up.

A Bit Differently
Hi Product Hunt,
I built this feature to stop bothering the waiter every time I read a menu and don't understand what a dish looks like. It’s funny that every time a restaurant creates a special dish, they give it a fancy name where you just stare at it and say, "What is this?"
The bad news is that unless the chef is a really skilled one, you will probably be a bit disappointed by what the real dish looks like. How it tastes is a different story.

Bon appétit.
This is honestly a fun idea. :))
I was in Italy recently and had this exact problem more than once. You sit down, open the menu, and suddenly half the dishes sound nice but you have no real idea what will actually arrive on the plate.
I like that this is not trying to be a serious restaurant AI assistant first, but solves a very simple moment: help me understand what I’m about to order before I accidentally commit to something mysterious. 😅
Curious how Ava handles more local or very restaurant-specific dishes. Does it mostly generate a likely visual based on the name and ingredients, or can it understand menus from a photo too?
Either way, this would definitely save me from a few awkward waiter questions. Voilà

@andrasczeizel Thanks Andras.
For now, it generates images only based on the dish name and ingredients.
The ideal approach will be first to get the specific restaurant profile and user feedback from Tripadvisor, for example, and then generate images to match that restaurant style, so the images will look more accurate to the actual dish.
