2Km: Walk 2km a Day - A calm daily walking habit

by
2KM strips fitness tracking down to one question: did you walk your 2 today? That's 2km or 2 miles, set automatically from your device. No calories, no pace, no social feed, no subscription. Just a ring, a calm streak, and HomeScreen widgets. You gradually increase your target once the habit is built. Free for most features, with one time small premium purchase.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built 2KM because every fitness app I tried made me feel behind within five minutes of opening it. Calories, pace, VO2 max, streak flames, a feed of other people's runs. So I stripped all of it out and kept exactly one thing: did you walk your 2 today? That's 2 kilometers, or 2 miles if your device is set to imperial. The app figures out which one automatically. "2KM" is a name, not a unit claim. A few decisions I made on purpose: No login, no account, no backend. Everything lives on your device and syncs privately through your own iCloud. Calm design over gamification. Warm colors, one accent, no confetti or badges yelling at you. Streaks that don't guilt you. Miss a day and you can share the app once a week to repair your streak, free, no purchase needed. Ignore it and the app just quietly waits for tomorrow. A home screen widget and seven share poster styles, all themed to your accent color, if you want to post your progress somewhere that isn't Product Hunt. One-time purchase for extras (other activities, custom goal distance, rest days, monthly streak freeze). No subscription, ever. Built natively in SwiftUI. Would love feedback, especially from anyone else who's burned out on fitness apps that try to do too much. Happy to answer anything about the build, the streak-repair mechanic, or the "why not a subscription" decision in the comments today.

love that the goal literally scales to wherever you walk in the world. the home screen widget is the killer detail here, no opening the app, no guilt spirals, just a quiet ring that closes when you do.

Finally a step app that does not yell at me. Liked that the target nudged up after I kept hitting it, and the home screen widget is the only thing I actually need to see.

Love how simple this is, the single question approach actually makes me want to open the app. One idea: let me set a custom reminder time that nudges me only if I haven't closed the ring yet, maybe tied to my calendar so it skips days I'm traveling.
