Hi Product Hunt! I’m sharing 漢字ドリル, a small tool for making Japanese handwriting practice sheets from the characters you actually want to practise. The workflow is simple: choose a few characters, adjust the writing grid and practice style, check the preview, and download an A4 PDF. You can practise individual characters or keep a name or word together. The teacher workspace adds reusable layout settings and blank name, class and date fields. Try 山・川・日・月 as a first example. The interface is in Japanese, and creating and downloading worksheets is free with no sign-up. Practice text is processed locally for PDF creation; the site still uses visit analytics as described in its privacy page. I’d welcome feedback on the worksheet layout and which controls are hardest to understand, especially from people who prepare Japanese learning materials.
