🔥 Our Take: He built the commercial half around the three ways a Million Dollar Homepage clone always dies, which is a strange amount of homework for a pixel toy. The main belt is 3,000 procedurally generated rocks so the $5 tier can never sell out, the sky-events page exists so you come back when you have stopped caring about your rock, and links get checked monthly because 22% of the original's died within a decade. Then he tells you on every page that your name means nothing to the IAU, which is the opposite of how this scam usually runs.

Toolport came out of Tyler getting tired of pasting the same API keys into a fresh JSON file for Claude, Cursor, Codex and VS Code, so it sits between your agents and your MCP servers, set up once and shared by all of them, exposing a few searchable meta-tools instead of dumping every definition into context.

🔥 Our Take: Three servers cost him 24,000 tokens of tool definitions before he had asked anything, and on a 415-tool catalog the overhead drops 99.5%, which is the sort of number that makes you check the benchmark twice. The part I did not expect is the security work: he is a cybersecurity vet, so the gateway fingerprints tools, flags rug-pulls, treats injection-looking output as data rather than instructions, and holds destructive calls until you approve them.
