🔥 Our Take: Recruiting taste is hard to write down. Your company has passed on candidates who look great on paper and hired people other companies would have filtered out. CrustRecruiter is a bet that Claude can learn those patterns from your history, not from a generic criteria list. CrustData already has the data layer. The novel part is the transfer of institutional knowledge that normally lives in one person's head.
Distribution is the actual work

Farrukh Butt (@farrukh_butt1) posted the question founders ask themselves and usually answer wrong: how do you tell the difference between work that moves things forward and work that just feels like work?
The thread converged fast. Building product felt safe because it's trackable. Marketing, customer conversations, distribution — harder to measure, easier to skip. Fotso Tobou Achille put it plainly: "Builders are already good at building. Distribution is the actual work."
Not "do more marketing." The harder version: you keep doing the thing you're skilled at because the other thing is harder and you're not good at it yet. Most founders in the thread recognized it immediately and had no real counter-argument.
