Read people's minds
happy hump day✨
wakey wakey, it's time for your daily dose of all things product, building, and shipping! In today's issue of the Leaderboard, we're taking a look at an AI that lets you read minds, a tool that makes building notifications a lot less painful, and an app that is basically a marketing team in your pocket.
Read users minds

Attention Insight’s Figma plugin uses AI-powered heatmaps to predict where users will look first—before your design even goes live. Instead of guessing if your CTA is in the right spot, you can analyze attention, compare iterations, and back up decisions with real data instead of gut feelings.
🔥 Our take: Design debates usually end with “let’s test it” or “let’s just move the button again.” This skips the argument and shows where users will actually focus before you ship. If you’ve ever had to convince a stakeholder that yes, moving the signup button 10 pixels to the left won’t fix conversions, this might just save you the headache.
You're probably doing code reviews wrong.

AMA w/ Graphite's CEO
AI is evolving how we work and if you're using it in development, most likely you're using it to generate code but what about reviewing it? You actually might be missing a crucial way of using AI, for code reviews. Jump in and ask Graphite's CEO Merrill Lutsky your questions about building, reviewing code, and how AI can make...or break your development cycle.
Graphite is a developer workflow tool where teams create, review, and merge code continuously.
Goosefraba for devs

Inbox by Novu is an open-source React notification component that lets you add a real-time inbox to your app in six lines of code. It comes with UI, real-time updates, and user preferences built in, so you don’t have to deal with the usual notification chaos.
🔥 Our take: Every app needs notifications, but no one actually wants to build them. It starts simple, just a few alerts, then suddenly you’re knee-deep in webhooks, unread counts, and preference management. Novu skips the suffering and hands you a working inbox, no existential crisis required.

If your AI product has an onboarding step that says "tell us about your business" — your users are lying to you. Not maliciously. They just write whatever sounds good in the moment, skip half the fields, and click next.
Brandfetch's Brand Context API gives you structured brand data for 50M+ brands in a single call: voice, mission, positioning, audience, competitors, all of it. Pre-fill your onboarding before the user types a word.
Ground your AI features so they stop hallucinating about the brands your LLM barely knows. It's the scraping pipeline most teams never get around to building, already built. 100 free calls, no credit card.
Why edit when AI can do it

Shorty is an AI-powered video generator that takes a product link or description and instantly creates hundreds of TikToks and Reels. It builds AI avatars, writes hooks, and automates distribution, making it easier to push out content without spending hours filming and editing.
🔥 Our take: AI-generated marketing is a weird space. On one hand, Shorty makes it stupidly easy to flood social media with product videos. On the other, the internet is already drowning in algorithm-chasing, AI-scripted content. If this helps founders get attention without dancing on camera, great. If it turns every startup’s feed into the same AI-generated hype machine, we might regret giving robots the growth marketing playbook.
