Solidroad 2.0: AI-powered sales and customer support conversation simulator designed to train customer-facing teams.
It’s refreshing to see Solidroad focus on improving people rather than replacing them — an approach I rarely see in AI support tools. The interactive lessons and real-world simulations are a great touch, especially since you can customize them to fit your team’s needs, instead of relying on a library of templates and boilerplate scenarios. It makes ongoing coaching, which is always crucial, so much more manageable.
Can we handle teleportation?
Tonari: Always-on, floor-to-ceiling video portals that allow true eye contact.
Setting aside Tonari’s remarkable technical achievements, I’m impressed by how the team is clearly thinking about how to solve the remote video call problem in a way that centers core human values like empathy, closeness, and intimacy. I’ll be curious to see whether the product gains a user base outside of Japan. Is the Western workplace really ready for always-on, wall-embedded portals?
We asked 34 customers what Viktor does for them. Not one said chatbot.

They kept using words like colleague, coworker, team member. One CEO called it the glue holding their e-commerce business together, which is a lot, but also… you see why. It lives in Slack and plugs into 3,000+ tools, so instead of jumping between tabs, you just ask for the thing. Pull Stripe against HubSpot, check Sentry alerts, spin up a campaign brief, build a landing page, send a report upstairs. It all happens there.
It has already hit top 5 on Product Hunt with 130 comments, is SOC 2 certified, and your data does not train models. One user said it was the first time AI felt like a real coworker, which is either exciting or slightly concerning depending on your week.
One key to rule them all
Airbounce: MacOS menubar app that transforms your caps lock key into a one-button control station for Zoom — join, leave, mute and unmute with the stroke of a key.
If the app seems pretty simple, that’s because it is. But it’s pretty cool that you can now save yourself the fleeting stress of that embarrassing shuffle you do while trying to find the unmute button or leave the call before everyone else does. *Shudders*.
