Product cheat sheets
This newsletter was brought to you byElevenLabsHope your weekend was great. I can't help but wonder what the people at Wikipedia were thinking this weekend while considering this indecent proposal. 🤔
But here's some better/actual good news.
- Google vs Duolingo is on. But does the tutoring tool have a sassy bird mascot?
- Tinder lets friends view profiles. Can’t ship a partner without early feedback.
- Apple’s Generative AI plan will get here, eventually…
Copy notes from product experts
I love to learn from experts, and many of you do too. It doesn’t matter if it's educational entertainment like Masterclass or a thread about a shuttered startup — we slurp it up one tweet at a time.
In the startup tech world, makers are often coming up with new ways to approach bottling and selling that expertise. There are programs, mentorships, cohorts, classes, and podcasts with communities.
Reforge, the well-funded startup that helps Product and Growth people advance their careers, uses many of these strategies for training professionals.
Now Reforge has launched Artifacts, which lets you dive into the real work of product pros, because seeing Canva’s roadmap is helpful, but not nearly as helpful as hearing the Growth Marketer who wrote it walk you through it, right?
That’s the bet, but the execution is what I’m most interested in. Artifact not only plops the real document on a website, it lets the document maker add commentary in the form of notes or videos so they can explain why they did what they did or what they would do differently next time.
On top of that, Reforge offers a template to create your own version of the same document.
So far, Reforge Artifact has documents from Growth and Product pros from Patreon, Duolingo, Canva, Vimeo, and Reforge itself, to name a few.
So we’re just… talking to software now?

ElevenLabs has been the go-to for voice for a while. Now they've turned that expertise into agents that actually get things done. You set one up, it talks like a real person, listens, responds, and helps handle the task — support calls, bookings, whatever the job is. Not a demo, not a "press 1 for sales" situation. It's ready to deploy. Feels like one of those shifts where the interface quietly changes. Less typing, less clicking, more just saying what needs to happen and letting it play out.
